In today's video, Anastasia will show you a beautiful Christmas Snowy Themed Balloon Garland setup step by step. It mainly consists of colorful DIY balloon garland, and a beautiful Kate Christmas Snowy Red Car Backdrop. You will love all the colors, balloon garland, snowflakes, and this whole beautiful Christmas setup.

The most important part is to create a beautiful balloon garland out of balloons. So firstly, you need to:

Choose Balloons According to The Backdrop

Anastasia: "Deciding what color balloons should I use to create this garland, you should choose according to the backdrop. When I was choosing this backdrop, my first initial plan was to use white and gray and create this kind of like a full fluffy sky and have some 3d snowflakes falling from the sky. If you look at the backdrop, it's kind of snowing. So i pulled out obviously white balloons, some of gray fashion backdrop. These colors will match the backdrop very very well."

Then, to Complement This Christmas Setup, Things You Mainly Need:

Next, you can start to construct this particular balloon garland.

Step One: Inflate White balloons, Create White Balloon Clusters

  1. Inflate White 11’’ & 17” balloons into different sizes;
  2. Press them against the floor to give them more rounder shape;
  3. Crisscross the balloons’ necks and tie your balloons into a pair, to create clusters;
  4. Cluster White balloons. Grab two different pairs of balloons in white color and interwining them two together, like that shows in the video.
  5. Take another cluster and add on to the quad that you just made and, interwine everything together.
  6. Repeat the above step, make sure you interwine everything nice and tight together.

[ Tip:As soon as you’ve done inflating them, you can press them against the floor to give them more rounder shape. This step is absolutely and totally optional some people love more rounder balloons. ]

( Please Remember: Do not over inflate your balloons, because it's not going to look great. Your balloons might pop faster, and it will give you less of a stretch of your neck, and less neck space for you to work with later on. So do not over inflate. )

Step Two: Inflate Gray Fashion Balloons into Smaller Sizes, Create Smaller Gray Clusters

  1. Inflate Gray Fashion 12’’ balloons into smaller sizes;
  2. Crisscross the balloons’ tails, bring it over, and knotting them to keep them together in a pair, to create smaller clusters;
  3. Cluster gray balloons. Grab two different pairs of balloons in gray color and interwining them two together, like that shows in the video.
  4. Take another cluster and add on to the quad that you just made and, interwine everything together.
  5. Repeat the above step, make sure you interwine everything nice and tight together.

[ Tip: Work with one color balloons at a time. It will give you a better control of colors when constructing a balloon garment.]

Step Three: Construct Particular Balloon Garland

  1. Take two different sizes clusters, reaches inside and looking for their loose necks, find the longest andstretchiest neck in that cluster.
  2. Do exactly the same thing with the other cluster and literally tiethem two together.
  3. Then you will get a combined, big cluster.
  4. Repeat this again and again, until you’re happy with the size, and finally get a beautiful balloon garland.

Step Four: Attach The Balloon Garland to Your Backdrop

  1. Use safety pins, pin them to the backdrop. You also need extra fishing line or any type of string, wrap it around the balloon garland and tie the garland to those safety pins pinned to your backdrop.
  2. Use Twisting Balloons to tie smaller grey balloon clusters, and attach them to the white balloons on the backdrop. Make them sit nice and snug, and fix them.

[ Tip: Always step back and look at what you did. Because sometimes up close, everything looks perfect. But when you step back and look at it, sometimes things don't work as you see it up close. So very important, take time step back and assess the situation.]
